BUILT: 1929 / RENOVATION: 2016

Our newest renovation is a 17,000 sq. ft. commercial/retail property in the thriving SE Buckman neighborhood, right across the street from Revolution Hall. Originally constructed as a bakery in 1929, we’ve christened this beautiful new space The Luxury Bread Building in homage to its origins. Completely rebuilt from the ground up, the building features full seismic upgrades, and state-of-the-art mechanical systems, including full solar power.

The Luxury Bread Building is now home to these newly thriving companies…

Grand Fir Brewing owners Whitney Burnside and Doug Adams are so excited to bring their special brewery to life in such a vibrant neighborhood filled with great music, stellar beer, and diverse food.

Strum is a guitar shop with oldies but goodies.

Good Dog PDX is Buckman Neighborhood’s locally owned and operated pet supply store. Dog and Cat friendly. Delivery within two miles free of charge.

Suckerpunch offers zero-proof cocktail kits featuring locally sourced non-alcoholic spirits, teas and botanicals.

Portland Insectarium is Portland’s first zoo and museum dedicated entirely to insects and arachnids!

The rich history of the Luxury Bread Building harkens back to 1929, when it was originally run as a family bakery called the Luxury Bakery Company.
